The moment of the transfer of the aircraft depends on the training of Ukrainian pilots and technical personnel, as well as the infrastructure, said Kaisa Ollongren.

The Netherlands intends to transfer 24 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. Dutch Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren said this in an interview with Ukrinform, published on Saturday, April 6.
“In total, we will transfer 24 F-16 fighters. They will be transferred to Ukraine as soon as everything is ready. This moment depends on the training of Ukrainian pilots and technical personnel, as well as, of course, on the infrastructure ,” said Ollongren.
According to him, the transfer of aircraft is a joint effort with Ukraine, as well as with Denmark, the USA and other countries.
“It is difficult, it is complicated, but it will happen. Our coalition hopes that this summer we can start delivering F-16 fighters, first from Denmark and then from the Netherlands, ” added the minister.
In turn, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte previously named the minimum number of F-16s for Ukraine.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that the Netherlands promised 42 F-16 fighter jets for our country. “And this is just the beginning,” said the head of state.
