Ukraine needs more air defense systems and missiles, the head of the Ministry of Defense emphasized.
Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky on Friday, April 5, spoke with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. The head of the Ministry of Defense announced this on Facebook.
“We informed the Minister of Defense in detail about the current situation and recent Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure. I emphasized again: Ukraine needs more air defense systems and missiles,” said Umerov.
The minister said that “we must together stop the enemy of the free world – and do it here in Ukraine.”
We remind you that President Vladimir Zelensky said that Russia carried out more than 4,000 attacks on Ukraine in March using missiles, suicide bombers and guided bombs.
