The interlocutors discussed preparations for the inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland and touched on the development of relations between Ukraine and Latin America.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced on April 4 that he had a telephone conversation with Organization of American States (OAS) Secretary General Luis Almagro.
“I thanked him for his personal principled position and all declarations, statements and resolutions of the OAS in support of Ukraine, as well as for participation in the Crimean Platform,” Zelensky said.
The interlocutors discussed preparations for the inaugural peace summit in Switzerland.
“The broad representation of Latin American countries here is primarily important for Ukraine,” the president stressed.
The parties also touched on the development of relations between Ukraine and Latin America, especially the possibility of holding a Ukraine-Latin America summit.
“We count on the support of the OAS in this direction as well,” Zelensky added.
As you know, the inaugural Zelensky Peace Formula Peace Summit is planned for this year in Geneva (Switzerland).
