    .

    To this end, more than 50 military standards have been adopted since the beginning of 2024. The press service of the Ministry of Defense reported this today, April 4.

    We are talking, in particular, about military standards for:

    • operation of weapons and military equipment;
    • safety of storage of ammunition and explosives;
    • troop control.

    Two national standards for the life cycle management system of weapons and military equipment have also been adopted.

    The introduction of NATO standards is included in the government’s priority action plan for 2024, notes Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Ivan Gavrilyuk. — According to the package of Partnership Goals with NATO, Ukraine plans to adopt 219 standards by 2025, of which 190 have already been introduced (128 of them on an initiative basis).

    It is noted that by the end of 2024, the Ministry of Defense plans to adopt about 40 more standards recommended by NATO.
