Maksimilianovka of the Maryinsk community of the Donetsk region has turned into a “ghost” village, and military clashes are taking place on the approaches to this settlement. The National Police of Ukraine reported this on April 3.
In this village, destroyed houses and cars hit by drones are visible through. In Maximilianka, despite the daily attacks from the Russians, about 50 residents remain. At the same time, 12 people live on the edge of the village – the battle line is several hundred meters from here.
However, humanitarian aid is being delivered to civilians, despite the risks. In particular, this is done by the White Angel police group. The police showed on video that they brought vegetables and food packages to people.
The evacuation from Maximilianka continues, but not everyone is ready to leave their home. Law enforcement officials say that living there is very dangerous – a few days after the humanitarian flight, they returned to the village to pick up the body of the dead woman. An enemy shell killed her on the threshold of her house.
Recently, two people were taken from this front-line village – a husband and his wife, who needed urgent medical care.
Let us remind you that in Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region, the evacuation group “White Angel” saved a wounded 72-year-old local resident, whose house was hit by a Russian shell. Law enforcement officers had to get under fire, and columns of black smoke rose in the city.
