US national security adviser Jake Sullivan has postponed planned visits abroad, particularly to Saudi Arabia, because he was injured. This was confirmed on April 3 in a telephone briefing by White House adviser John Kirby, reports Ukrinform.
He said Sullivan suffered broken ribs as a result of the accident.
“It wasn’t caused by anybody, it wasn’t the result of a malicious act or anything like that,” a White House spokesman said.
