Moscow plans to mobilize an additional 300 thousand troops by June 1. President Vladimir Zelensky stated this during a joint press conference with his Finnish counterpart Alexander Stubb. The event was broadcast on the head of state’s Facebook page.

The president also assured that 500 thousand people would not be mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine this year. Zelensky said that “we don’t need half a million.” However, he refused to name the number that the authorities want to draft into the army.
