Last week, the Finnish government decided to allocate 23 military aid packages to Ukraine.
Finnish President Alexander Stubb revealed what exactly is included in the new package of military aid to Ukraine, worth 188 million euros, announced on Wednesday, April 3.
He said this at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Kyiv.
Stubb noted that the Finnish government decided to allocate the package last week.
“The package contains air defense equipment as well as large-caliber artillery ammunition,” the Finnish leader said.
He assured that Finland’s support for Ukraine will continue.
“We Finns are not very talkative people. We prefer to act rather than talk. And these 23 packages will help meet the needs of Ukraine, which President Zelensky told me,” Stubb added.
We remind you that since the beginning of 2024, Ukraine has received 400 million euros of military aid from Finland. By the end of the year, this amount will increase significantly, thanks to at least two more aid packages.
The total amount of support provided by Finland since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation is close to 2 billion euros.
