From Cape Chauda in the occupied Crimea, the enemy launched a dozen Shahed-136/131 attack drones. Also, from the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye region, the enemy attacked an X-59 guided aircraft missile. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
To destroy the attack UAVs, units of mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces were involved. Ukrainian defenders destroyed nine Shaheds. All of them were shot down within the Dnepropetrovsk region.
The Southern Defense Forces reported on Telegram that the enemy was targeting the energy infrastructure of the Dnepropetrovsk and Kirovograd regions.
During the attack, the Russian “Shahed” in the Kirovograd region damaged an energy infrastructure facility. The fire that broke out was quickly extinguished. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The consequences of the damage are still being determined.
Let us recall that the air defense of the Ukrainian Ground Forces during March 2024 destroyed 326 enemy air reconnaissance and attack assets. In particular, 151 Shahed-131/136 attack drones were shot down.
