At the moment, there are no threats to us on the territory of Belarus, assured the head of Ukrainian intelligence.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, commented on the information about a possible re-invasion of the Russian army in Kyiv. He said this in a telethon on Sunday, March 31.
In particular, when journalists asked about what data French President Emmanuel Macron relied on when he said that if the Russians entered Kiev or Odessa, French troops could end up in Ukraine, answered Budanov: “You yourself said that this is his assumption . There can be many assumptions. You know, on assumptions that we can also go to Moscow today. But in fact this is not the case.”
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate also stated that at the moment there are no threats to us on the territory of Belarus.
“Currently there are no threats on the territory of Belarus. And we do not see the possibility that they will appear in the near future,” he added.
Earlier, the media reported that Vladimir Putin wants to capture Kharkov and therefore seems to be preparing offensive actions against the city. To this end, further mobilization may be announced in Russia.
