The Czech intelligence services, with the help of the SBU, exposed in Prague a pro-Russian network of influence among European deputies, linked to Vladimir Putin’s godfather Viktor Medvedchuk. Ukrinform reported this with reference to its own sources on Sunday, March 31.
The network’s activities are said to bring more pro-Russian politicians to the European Parliament.
“This pro-Russian network paid money to politicians for praising Russia and Putin in the European media, and also published anti-Ukrainian and anti-European materials on its own website Voice of Europe ,” the report said.
We remind you that on March 27, the Czech Republic expanded the list of sanctions against the Russian Federation, including Viktor Medvedchuk and propagandist Artem Marchevsky.
Later it became known about the exposure in Europe of a Russian network trying to influence the European Parliament elections.
