The head of the Odessa OBA, Oleg Kiper, told the Public about this. Before this, the beaches and the availability of shelters nearby must be checked by the relevant services so that staying by the sea is safe for people.
There is an algorithm, we understand how to do it. The safe component in Odessa has been very tense lately, but we will open it if possible. This is why we opened the beach season last year: to improve people’s health, to give our city and region a new breath, Kiper said.
He mentioned the spontaneous beaches that have formed in the city. They were dangerous, so the decision was made to equip those beaches that could give people the opportunity to undergo those solar treatments after checking by all services, explosive and others, and if there is shelter nearby.”
As for the current season, Kiper predicts: after the May holidays, there will be more people on Odessa beaches again. To open the beaches, he said, this issue needs to be worked out with city authorities, military leadership and other services.
