The enemy is again trying to direct the routes of its drones in such a way as to both expose and bypass air defense systems.
The enemy does not hold back the fear: the southern and southeastern regions are attacked. Natalya Gumenyuk, spokesperson of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, said this at the telethon. Something new.
“With the air defense forces in our operational zone, we repelled a drone attack for about three hours, which apparently aimed again at the energy infrastructure,” he said.
According to him, no hits are allowed in the Odessa region, but in the Dnepropetrovsk region the remains of a downed drone fell on the territory of an elevator where a fire broke out: it was immediately extinguished, no people were injured, and nothing critical. damage has occurred.
Gumenyuk added that the very fact that the enemy tried to redirect the routes of its drones in such a way as to both expose and bypass air defense systems may, in a certain sense, indicate that even such not too strong attacks can be a harbinger of future attacks when the enemy collects some information.
“We have already emphasized that after the destruction of the A-50, the enemy has problems obtaining information, as a result of which they intensify the activities of unmanned reconnaissance vehicles. The danger from the Black Sea remains as long as the enemy is in possession of the launch vehicles, and we know that they are equipped with “Caliber-type missiles,” the official reported.
Before the initial massive concerted attack, the enemy put into combat duty an underwater missile carrier, which remained in the Black Sea throughout the attack, but the use of Calibers was not recorded.
“They probably did the same maneuver before this massive attack,” Gumenyuk suggests.
As we already wrote, on the night of March 30, the Russians launched 12 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs across Ukraine. Air defense forces destroyed nine enemy drones.
