The reason for the price increase is the increase in the cost of the forms for this document. However, the new cost is not much different from the old one.
In Ukraine, from April 1, the cost of obtaining a passport for traveling abroad will increase. The reason is the increase in the price of forms for this document, reported the State Migration Service of Ukraine.
If before it cost 896 Hryvnia to issue a passport for up to 20 days, now the price will be 958 Hryvnia. If a document is required for up to 7 working days or up to 3 (if there are grounds), then you have to pay 1598 hryvnia instead of 1496 hryvnia, as before.
However, for those who paid for administrative services and submitted an application before March 31, the passport will be at the old price. If you do not have time to submit the application, the difference in the amount can be paid later.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainians abroad issued 600 thousand passports.
