This was announced by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.
Ambassador Sergei Andreev himself showed his culture and professionalism. As far as I hear, he has already left our territory, Sikorsky noted.
He added that Andreev was not deported from Poland and he did not inform about his resignation.
Subsequently, the Russian Embassy in Poland issued a technical note regarding the absence of the ambassador from March 26 to April 4.
Let us remind you that during the Russian attack on Ukraine on March 24, one of the missiles flew into Polish territory for 39 seconds. After this incident, the Polish Foreign Ministry called the Russian Ambassador for an explanation, but he ignored the meeting.
