Especially for the launch of a new international service, Ukrzaliznytsia appointed a new domestic day train No. 345/346 Chernivtsi – Chop – Uzhgorod, the schedule of which is adjusted for a comfortable transfer of Bukovinian and Transcarpathian passengers.
The cost of tickets to/from Prague depends on the day of travel and on average is about 1060 UAH per seat or 1700 UAH per sleeping place. You can purchase them on the website of the carrier RegioJet. On the Czech train, women’s compartments and a range of dishes and drinks from the onboard menu, including breakfast, are available.
The launch of the service was carried out in cooperation with the Czech private carrier RegioJet, also the operator of the Prague – Przemysl train, which provides train connections to Ukraine through the Przemysl station.
Travel time between Prague and Chop will be approximately 13 hours, departure from Prague daily at 21:52, arrival in Chop at 10:35. In the opposite direction, departure from Chop is daily at 17:35, arrival in Prague at 05:57.
Border and customs control on the Ukrainian side will be carried out at the international terminal of the Chop railway station, on the Slovak side – in train cars while the train is parked at the Čierna nad Tisou border station, while passengers do not need to leave the cars.
