In Germany, a bus was involved in an accident: five died

The publication Bild said the bus, for unknown reasons, left the road, crashed into a group of trees and overturned.

Five people died in an accident involving a Flixbus intercity bus near the German city of Leipzig. This was reported by the police of the state of Saxony in eastern Germany, reports the German publication Bild.

Several rescue helicopters and several ambulances arrived at the scene. The highway is closed in both directions. A tent was set up at the scene of the accident for investigators.

The Flixbus bus was traveling to Munich and was supposed to stop in Leipzig at 10 am, but did not arrive.

Before arriving, the bus, for unknown reasons, left the road, then crashed into a group of trees and overturned. Passengers and crew were thrown from their seats and the bus was badly damaged.

We previously wrote that a major accident occurred on the road in Italy involving hundreds of vehicles. Three were killed and around 25 others were injured.
