Due to the approaching Easter holidays, the flow of people and vehicles at the Polish border is increasing.
Ahead of the approaching Easter holidays in European countries, traffic queues at Polish border checkpoints are increasing. In recent days alone, passenger traffic in both directions has increased by 8 thousand. The press service of the State Border Guard Service reported this on Tuesday, March 26.
“To cross the border by cars and buses, travelers usually choose the Krakovets and Shegini checkpoints. Therefore, there is an accumulation of transport in front of these checkpoints,” the message said.
At the same time, border guards periodically record queues to enter Ukraine.
It is noted that the lowest traffic dynamics are observed in Smolnitsa, Grushev, Rava-Russkaya and Ugrinev. In order to reduce waiting time in queues at the State Border Guard Service, citizens are advised to choose these checkpoints to cross the border.
Earlier it was reported that the upcoming Easter does not prevent Polish farmers from blocking the Ukrainian border. On March 24, they completely blocked the movement of trucks to Poland at two checkpoints.
