The head of the SBU Vasily Malyuk spoke about this in a conversation with ICTV.
Agents of the Russian FSB acted in the Khortitsa operational group of troops. The kid said that Syrsky was the commander of Khortitsa at that time.
The first agent had the rank of lieutenant colonel and passed on to the Russians all intelligence information from various streams, including secret information. Malysh added that he was surprised that the detainee did not take money from the Russians; he worked “for an idea,” although he was from the Volyn region.
His grandfather potentially ran with a machine gun among the UPA,” Malysh noted.
This traitor surrendered the entire network and the SBU managed to discover the second agent – a lieutenant colonel of the National Guard, who also worked in Khortytsia.
Both were detained and arrested. They gave evidence.
