Vasily Malyuk called the decisions of “Kremlin pocket judges” unworthy of attention.
The Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Malyuk in absentia for two months. The press service of the court reported this on Tuesday, March 26.
“By the decision of the Basmanny District Court of Moscow, Vasily Vasilyevich Malyuk was selected as a preventive measure in the form of detention for two months,” the statement said.
Malyuk was also placed on the federal and international wanted list. The head of the SBU was accused in absentia under the article “about a terrorist attack” (Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
As the Russian media clarified, we are talking about arranging a truck explosion on the Crimean Bridge in October 2022.
In this regard, Vasily Malyuk called the decisions of “Kremlin pocket judges” unworthy of attention, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“The decision of the arrest from the pocket of the Kremlin judges does not deserve any attention. I, like all Ukrainians, am only interested in one trial – their master Putler. We do the everything in our power to see this criminal war in the court of the Hague bench as soon as possible,” – reported the SBU press service, quoting Malyuk about the report that he was arrested by a Moscow court in his absence.
Let’s recall that in July 2023, Vasily Malyuk officially confirmed for the first time that the destruction of the Crimean Bridge in October 2022 was the work of the SBU.
And the day before, Malyuk said that Ukraine has the potential to completely destroy the Crimean Bridge.
