In temporarily occupied Crimea, on March 23, the Ukrainian military successfully attacked the targets of the Black Sea Fleet of the aggressor state of Russia. In particular, the 13th ship repair plant of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol was under attack, where, among other things, the Yamal shipbuilding ship was moored. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported this on March 25 in Telegram.
It is noted that the damage to this vessel is critical – a hole in the upper deck caused a list to starboard. The occupiers are continuously pumping water from the stricken ship.
Other details about the losses of the aggressor as a result of a missile attack by the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine against the military facilities of terrorist Russia are being clarified, the Main Intelligence Directorate stated.
The intelligence officers added that the Yamal IDC took part in the annexation of Crimea. However, from 2017 to 2023 it was under repair in Sevastopol.
Let us remind you that on the night of March 24, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the 13th ship repair plant of the Russian Federation in Sevastopol. There, at the time of the attack, there was a large landing ship “Yamal”, which the occupiers were repairing from 2017 to 2023. In addition, the Azov PDK was hit.
