A fire broke out at an oil refinery near the city of Novokuybyshevsk, Samara region of the Russian Federation, on the evening of Saturday, March 23, Russian Telegram channels report.
According to preliminary data, the plant was attacked by a drone.
“Eyewitnesses reported a fire at a refinery near the city. Before this, the sound of an engine was heard,” the report said.
According to local residents, a loud explosion was first heard, and then flames were seen from the fire.
