On the evening of Friday, March 22, an air raid alert was announced over most of Ukraine. The air force warned of the Shahed launch and the possibility of a missile attack.
“Groups of UAVs through the Sumy and Poltava regions are following a southwesterly course towards the Kirovograd region,” the message said.
In addition, the Air Force warned about the threat of Kh-22 missile launches, as two Tu-22M3 aircraft were spotted in the Black Sea.
Later, monitoring channels reported that the aircraft had simulated launches and that there was no missile threat.
We remind you that last night Russian troops carried out a massive coordinated attack on Ukraine, using 151 air attack weapons, including UAVs and various types of missiles. The air defense was able to shoot down 92 enemy targets. The government says this attack on Ukraine’s energy sector is the biggest in a long time.
