As a result of the massive attack by Russian aggressors on Ukraine’s energy system, 700 thousand consumers were temporarily left without electricity. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Alexei Kuleba, on Telegram on Friday, March 22.
He noted that 10 regions were attacked: Odessa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Kirovograd, Khmelnitsky, Vinnytsia, Sumy regions.
“We are working to restore light and water to people and businesses. The situation is especially difficult on the Left Bank of the Dnieper,” wrote Kuleba.
So, in the Dnepropetrovsk region Residents of Kamensky, Krivoy Rog, and Pavlograd remain without electricity. In total, it is more than 250 thousand subscribers. These cities will also have lighting schedules. Work is underway to restore power by the end of the day.
The same situation in Zaporozhye. Power outage schedules are introduced there.

In the Poltava region about 110,000 subscribers are without power. Shutdown schedules are introduced.
Temporarily de-energized Kharkiv and other settlements of Kharkov region, Pervomaiskaya settlement of Lozovsky region. Other cities in the region remained partially without electricity – Krasnograd, Alekseevka, Kupyansky district.
The region is introducing blackout schedules to maintain the power grid. Today, 700 thousand consumers remain without electricity.
In the Sumy region The communities of Sumy, Shostka, Lebedin, Lipovaya Dolina, Svesa, Krasnopolskaya and Glukhovskaya were de-energized. Blackout schedules are introduced.
Electricity supplies are limited in Kirovograd and Khmelnytsky regions.
Power has been restored in the Vinnytsia region. 40 suicide bombers flew here today.
Three people are known to have died – two in the Khmelnitsky region and one person in Zaporozhye. At least three people are missing. So far, 13 people have been injured. There was also damage to civilian houses.
“I report the situation in the affected cities to the President of Ukraine and the head of the Office of the President. I am constantly in contact with local and regional authorities, relevant ministries. People immediately receive all help,” said Kuleba.
