Joe Biden’s national security adviser promised that aid to Ukraine would be unblocked in Congress. But he doesn’t say when this will happen.
In our opinion, we will be able to do this. We will get this help for Ukraine. And we don’t just say it. Just last week, the White House announced a $300 million package of munitions, air defense, and other critical supplies that are needed on the front right now, and we’re rushing to get them to you right now as we speak. We will do everything in our power to support you in your efforts to move forward. And we will work with the whole world, as well as with a coalition of more than 50 countries that are firm in their support for Ukraine,” Sullivan said at a meeting with the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak.
In addition, Biden’s national security adviser assured that the United States understands that Ukraine must win the war, but there will be no ATACMS missiles yet.
ATACMS, I must disappoint you, but I have no public statements on this matter today.
The US President’s National Security Adviser assured that the United States believes in Ukraine’s victory and called on Ukrainians to have faith in the United States amid efforts to pass a critical aid package to Ukraine.
I am here today to say that we believe in you. We believe that you will win. We believe that you will build a brighter future for the Ukrainian people, a stronger democracy, a stable and secure country that can repel future aggression. And we will be your partner every step of the way,” he said.
Sullivan, at a meeting with Ermak, assured that the Ukraine aid bill would receive “strong bipartisan support” in the House of Representatives of Congress, although he did not say when this might happen.
