The protesters will not even allow vehicles to pass. But for such cars on the adjacent side it is possible to bypass the protesters.
Polish protesters blocked the Medika-Shegini border checkpoint for all types of transport. The State Border Service of Ukraine reported this on Wednesday, March 20.
“Approximately at 20:00 (Kyiv time), the passage of trucks and buses will be completely suspended. At the same time, protesters will not allow vehicles to pass through this checkpoint,” the message said.
At the same time, it was indicated that the cars on the adjacent side had the opportunity to bypass the protesters.
Border guards are asking citizens to consider this information when planning trips to the border.
Earlier on Wednesday it was learned that Poles blocked Shegini for passenger buses both entering and leaving Ukraine.
We remind you that on March 11, a similar blocking situation developed in this section of the border. But later the police and the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs said that this information “does not correspond to the truth.”
