The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine was involved in the attack on the Russian city of Engels, where the airfield is located, on the night of March 20. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to sources in the special service.
The interlocutor said that this was “a planned work of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.”

Earlier, a fire broke out in one of the factories in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation as a result of a drone attack.
