The first successful launch of the AGM-183A missile prototype was carried out by the United States at the end of 2022.

The US Air Force successfully tested the AGM-183 ARRW air-launched hypersonic cruise missile in the Pacific Ocean. Reuters reported this on Tuesday, March 19.

The exam was conducted on Sunday, March 17th.

It was noted that during the tests, the B-52 bomber left the island of Guam in the Pacific Ocean and launched a hypersonic cruise missile.

The US Air Force called the test a success, but did not disclose the speed at which the missile flew.

It was noted that in previous tests, the AGM-183 ARRW rocket reached a speed five times faster than the speed of sound (1191 km/h).

North Korea has launched several ballistic missiles towards the Sea of Japan. This is North Korea’s second ballistic missile launch this year, following the first launch of a solid-fueled medium-range ballistic missile with a hypersonic warhead in January.

The Bayraktar AKINCI attack unmanned aerial vehicle underwent new tests and successfully fired MAM-T and MAM-L guided missiles at sea targets.
