In the Amur region of the Russian Federation, 13 miners were trapped under rubble due to a mine collapse, and a state of emergency was introduced. This was announced by the Governor of the Amur Region, Vasily Orlov.

“A group of rescuers from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations went to the rockfall site at the Pioner mine in the Zeya district. According to preliminary data, 13 people are under the rubble,” the message said.

Orlov added that the victims were shift workers from other regions.

Earlier it was reported that the upper stage of a Russian rocket fell in the Belgorod region. A woman was injured.
