Until the end of 2024, the Ukrainian military will push back the Russians, and next year they will go on the offensive and establish fire control over Crimea. But it needs US help.
Additional US funding will not provide a dramatic victory for Ukrainian troops, but will gradually push back the Russians. Democratic Senator Jack Reed, head of the US Senate Armed Services Committee, said this while talking to reporters, Voice of America reports.
He noted that if American lawmakers approve additional aid for Ukraine, then Ukrainian troops will “slowly push back the Russians for the rest of the year, not hard.”
Reed suggests that with more help from the United States, the Ukrainian Armed Forces could go on the offensive in 2025.
“Next year, 2025, there should be a new offensive operation, which will hopefully allow them to establish fire control in Crimea … said.
Earlier, the CIA said that Ukraine will be able to seize the offensive initiative on the front by the end of 2024 – the beginning of 2025 if the United States provides weapons.
