Russian troops occupied the village of Orlovka in the Avdeevsky direction and were advancing near Verbovoy.
The Russian invaders advanced to the village of Orlovka in the direction of Avdeevsky and near Verbovoy. This is confirmed by the map of the Ukrainian information resource DeepState, which was updated on the evening of Tuesday, March 19.
“The enemy advanced on Orlovka and near Verbovoy,” DeepState said in a commentary.
Ukrainian military journalist Bogdan Miroshnikov also reported on Orlovka’s capture on Telegram.
According to him, the fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were located outside the village and did not allow the invaders to get a foothold.
“Two weeks to preserve the ruins is a long time. We did the impossible!” – Miroshnikov assessed the defense of Orlovka.
Miroshnikov assesses the situation in other sections of the Avdeevsky direction as follows: “Our soldiers control the part of Tonenkoye in the northwest of the village, in Berdichi – less than half. At the same time, the enemy is putting of pressure at Nevelskoye, had little success east of the village. Probably, the invaders wanted to advance from him to the south of Pervomaisky, to hit the flank as well.”
The observer notes that the Russians have not been able to capture Pervomayskoe directly for a year and a half. He said that they also could not avoid Nevelskoye to move towards Krasnogorovka – “Our men are standing there firmly.”
“The general picture in the direction of Avdeevka has not changed,” Miroshnikov summarized, “the enemy attacked while there was an opportunity.”
At the same time, the observer believes that now the offensive potential of the Russians has decreased – “one can safely assume that after some time the directional battles will become of a positional nature.”

We remind you that the day before it was reported that the invaders captured the village of Mirnoye, located in the northeast of Robotinoye, Zaporozhye region.
