Russian dictator Vladimir Putin won this “election.” The war criminal received 87.28% of the votes based on the results of 100% of the protocols being processed. His rivals Nikolai Kharitonov received 4.31% of the votes, Vladislav Davankov – 3.85% of the votes, and Leonid Slutsky – 3.20%. The Central Election Commission of the aggressor country reported this.
Germany, Great Britain and the leadership of the European Union have already criticized the conduct of the so-called presidential elections in Russia and the TOT of Ukraine.
Brussels believes that these elections were held with numerous restrictions, without the participation of the real opposition and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. One of the opponents, imprisoned oppositionist Alexei Navalny, died in prison shortly before the elections. This was stated by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell.
The European Union expressed regret that Moscow did not invite observers from the OSCE. And the holding of fake elections in the occupied territories was condemned, because in this way the aggressor country violated international law.
The EU notes that it will never recognize either the holding of so-called “elections” in these territories of Ukraine or their results. They are void and cannot have any legal consequences. The political leadership of Russia and those involved in their organization will see the consequences of such illegal actions, Borrell noted.
The German Foreign Ministry responded to the holding of elections in the occupied territories of Ukraine. There they were called invalid and another violation of international law.
British Defense Minister Grant Shepps wrote on social media that Putin “stole another election, but he won’t steal Ukraine.”
According to Russian propaganda, Putin was congratulated on his “victory” by Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. This was also done by the dictators of Belarus, Honduras, Venezuela, Myanmar and the DPRK.
Let us remind you that on March 17, polling stations in Russia closed. Exit polls and the Russian Central Election Commission reported that incumbent dictator Vladimir Putin was winning 87% of the vote. In second place was communist Nikolai Kharitonov, gaining less than 5%.
