The State Tax Service detained a young man on March 13, allegedly attempting to illegally cross the state border. The civilian was sent to the Irshava military registration and enlistment office to clarify his military registration data. However, the detainee stated that he did not trust this military medical commission, and was transferred to the TCC in Khust for military medical examination. The Transcarpathian Territorial Acquisition Center announced this on Facebook on March 18.
The military claims that the detainee “behaved inappropriately” and subsequently attempted suicide. The TCC claims that he was hospitalized in a hysterical state, and the doctors seemed to tell them that “such a state could be caused by the use of narcotic drugs or substances.”
In the victim’s underwear there seems to be a plate of the drug “Gidazepam”, which is used for neurotic, psychopathic asthenia. Five out of 10 tablets were allegedly missing from the plate.
The TCC also stated that “no physical force was used against the citizen,” and all these wounds on his face “he could have inflicted on himself for the purpose of simulation.”
Let us remind you that on March 13, a man was detained in the Transcarpathian region allegedly while attempting to illegally cross the border. The offender was taken to the TCC to clarify his military registration data. There he went to the toilet, and was later found with traces of cuts on his hands. The suicide attempt was recorded in the city hospital.
The victim’s relatives claim that he became a victim of the arbitrariness of the military. According to him, TCC workers kidnapped her boyfriend from a hotel in Vinogradov and from there took him to the Vylok checkpoint on the border with Hungary. Already there, the military began accusing the civilian of “trying to cross the border.”
They took his phone, documents and money. The TCC said that they would allow him to contact his relatives only when he signs a document about an illegal attempt to cross the border. The girl said that the guy was even taken away the medicine he needed. The conscript was severely beaten and this could have driven him to attempt suicide.
