Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said at a press conference on Sunday, March 17, that the Russian Federation could create a “sanitary zone” on the borders of Ukraine.
“I do not exclude that, due to the tragic events taking place, we will be forced at some point to create a “sanitary zone” in the territories subject to Kiev. To create a security zone, which is quite difficult to overcome of destruction used by the enemy,” – said Putin.
According to him, all law enforcement agencies will be given instructions to identify all those fighting against Russia with weapons.
Putin also said that representatives of the Russian Volunteer Corps were allegedly “thrown like meat in meat attacks on the state border.” He compared the RDK with Vlasov’s army and said that out of 1.5 thousand volunteers there was a “loss of about 800 people.”
The Russian dictator also said that Russia does not have the death penalty, but “we will treat traitors as if we were in a war zone.”
In addition, Putin said that Russia is “for peace negotiations, but not only because the enemy is running out of ammunition.”
