From April, payments per child will increase from UAH 2,361 to UAH 7,800. If there are two or more children in a family, payments will increase to UAH 6,100. for each minor.
The Cabinet of Ministers tripled the amount of state social assistance to children of deceased volunteer defenders. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Veterans of Ukraine.
“We are talking about the children of the fallen (died) Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine from volunteers who took part in the implementation of measures necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine, and were not part of the volunteer formations of community of the territory. ,” the message said.
So, from April 1, the payment amount will automatically increase:

for a child – from 2361 UAH to 7800 UAH;

up to 6100 UAH for each minor, if there are two or more children in the family.
The Ministry of Veterans noted that the changes were initiated based on the results of working meetings with the families of deceased volunteers.
It was previously reported that foreign volunteers can receive a Ukrainian passport if they wish.
