Kyiv was not involved in the “attack” on “PMR” – Chisinau

The incident in question was an attempt to create fear and panic in the region. The military equipment in the photos has not been operational for several years, the Reintegration Bureau said.

Moldova responds to reports of “strike” at a military unit in Transnistria. The Bureau of Reintegration says that Ukraine definitely had nothing to do with it, and that the equipment whose breakdown was mentioned in the reports has not been working for a long time. The Moldovan publication NewsMaker writes about it.

“We inform you that the incident in question is an attempt to cause fear and panic in the region. The military equipment in the photographs has not been operational for several years,” the Reintegration Bureau said.

It was also noted that the authorities of Chisinau, in contact with the Ukrainian side, do not confirm any attack in the Transnistrian region.

The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andrey Yusov, in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine, called the situation in one of the Tiraspol military units a Russian provocation.

Let’s recall that the unknown “PMR” announced an attack on a military unit, and later claimed the “destruction of a Mi-8MT helicopter” by a Ukrainian drone.
