The man was detained on March 13 while trying to “illegally cross the border.” Border guards took the civilian to the TCC to clarify his military registration data. There he went to the toilet, and was later found with traces of cuts on his hands. The suicide attempt was recorded in the city hospital. This was reported by “Public” with reference to the Khust district TCC and joint venture.

Relatives of the detainee stated that he wanted to commit suicide because he was severely beaten by TCC workers. The man’s girlfriend claims that the military kidnapped him from a hotel in Vinogradov. From there the citizen was taken to the Vilok checkpoint on the border with Hungary. Already there, the military began accusing the civilian of “trying to cross the border.”

According to her, her boyfriend’s phone, documents and money were taken. The TCC said that they would allow him to contact his relatives only when he signs a document about an illegal attempt to cross the border. Subsequently, he was allegedly taken to the TCC in Irshava, and from there to the TCC in the city of Khust.

The man had documents after the operation; his medicine was taken away from him. But the hopelessness and pain of the man led him to attempt suicide, only after that he was taken to the hospital, she wrote on Instagram.

The man himself convinces that the police witnessed his beating by TCC employees. However, the law enforcement officers howled at the girl that they could not enter the military registration and enlistment office.

The public, citing the press service of the Transcarpathian region police, reported that they had opened criminal proceedings under Art. 120 (incitement to suicide) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. However, they objected that the security forces were present during the beating of the man.

Let us remind you that the Transcarpathian TCC stated that an investigation was being carried out after a suicide attempt in the Khust District Territorial Recruitment Center.
