The press service of the Transcarpathian TCC reported this in a comment to the Public.
TCC claims that on March 13, border guards detained a man attempting to illegally cross the border. He was taken to the TCC to clarify his military registration data.
While staying at the TCC, the man entered the toilet. After some time, a representative of the military registration and enlistment office found him; the man was sitting on the floor with traces of blood and cuts on his hands.
TCC employees provided medical assistance and called an ambulance, which took the man to Khust City Hospital. Doctors recorded a suicide attempt.
An internal investigation into this fact is being carried out, the department added.
