The SBU Cybersecurity Department said it was blocking supply chains of parts for Russian weapons.
Cyber specialists of the Security Service of Ukraine intercepted the supply of components for the manufacture of Russian suicide bombers and microcircuits for cruise missiles. The SBU reported this on Friday, March 15, on its website in connection with the words of Ilya Vityuk, head of the SBU CyberSecurity Department.
“We are blocking the supply chain of parts for Russian weapons. An example is that we have already blocked the supply of servomotors for the production of 1,600 missiles and 4,000 microcircuits for cruise missiles,” the official said.
According to him, cyber specialists are working on the front line to destroy the enemy’s electronic warfare and electronic warfare systems, as well as intercept enemy drones that coordinate missile and artillery strikes on the defense forces.
Intelligence information from SBU cyber specialists helps prevent human casualties and repel enemy cyber attacks. In particular, during two years of a large-scale war, almost 10 thousand cyber attacks were rejected. Most of them are still in the early stages.
