It is noted that yesterday the police received a message from a resident of the area that her husband’s two brothers, together with a fellow villager, went into the forest with a metal detector and did not return.
While investigating the message, in the forest near the village of Kolpitov, police found three local residents dead. The dead were 27, 35 and 38 years old. Previously, Volyn residents died as a result of the detonation of a World War II shell, the report says.
About fifty more such ammunition were discovered at the scene of the tragedy, and measures are being taken to seize them.
The statements on this fact were entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under clause 1, part 2 of Art. 115 (intentional murder of two or more persons with the additional mark “accident”) of the Criminal Code. The police will establish the circumstances of the tragedy.
