The Czech publication Aktualne writes that we are talking about a meeting of the allies 3 weeks ago. Fiala planned to talk in more detail about where the Czech Republic found so many shells outside the EU, but hid strategically important information, fearing that Moscow would receive the data through Fico.
According to the publication, Fiala deleted several details from his speech, fearing that because of Fico, strategically important information could become known in Moscow.
We are talking about a meeting of allies 3 weeks ago in Paris, which was convened by Emmanuel Macron to exchange views on how to jointly address Ukraine’s most urgent needs.
Initially, Fiala planned to talk in more detail about where the Czech Republic “found” 800 thousand shells that could be purchased for Ukraine in third countries, including their origin and cost.
About 15 leaders were expected at the meeting, but it was later learned that more would join, including Robert Fico, so Fiala allegedly deleted several details from his original speech.
The publication’s Czech diplomat interlocutor said Fiala then conveyed these details to several leaders in separate conversations.
