Over the past night, Ukrainian defenders shot down 27 enemy kamikaze drones in several regions. This was announced on the morning of Friday, March 15, by the command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“On the night of March 15, 2024, Russian invaders hit seven S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles in the Kharkov and Donetsk regions, one X-59 guided aircraft missile in the Poltava region and 27 Shahed-type. attack UAVs (drone launch areas – Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk region – Russian Federation),” the message said.
Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and Ground Forces, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and electronic warfare units stood up to protect the skies.
“As a result of the fighting, 27 Shaheds were shot down within the Kirovograd, Nikolaev, Kharkov, Kherson, Khmelnytsky, Vinnitsa, and Kyiv regions,” the Air Force reported.

It was previously reported that in the Vinnytsia region, a UAV hit a residential building; according to other sources, it is about falling debris from a downed drone. It was reported that one person was killed and several others were injured.
