The SBU detained an FSB informant in Nikolaev, who set up an “observation post” in an apartment for the columns of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The security service exposed an informant of the FSB of the Russian Federation who spied on the movement of military columns of the Defense Forces in the territory of Nikolaev. The SBU press service reported this on Thursday, March 14.
To collect intelligence data, the defendant set up an “observation post” in his own apartment. From the windows of his home, he observed the intensity of movement of units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on one of the main highways in the direction of the front line.
Also, during the movement of Ukrainian military equipment, the attacker tried to establish its approximate quantity and paid special attention to heavy weapons.
Despite the Russian informant’s conspiracy, SBU officials still exposed him and documented intelligence facts and subversive activities.
To ensure the movement routes of Ukrainian troops, comprehensive measures were taken, and the defendant himself was detained “in the act.” During the arrest, the attacker and his son physically resisted law enforcement officers to escape from the scene.

According to the investigation, the defendant contacted the pro-Kremlin blogger Sergei Lebedev (known under the pseudonym Shaggy), who is hiding in Donetsk and works for the FSB. I maintained communication with him through an anonymous messenger chat. There he presented intelligence “reports”.
The man was identified as a suspect and is in custody. The attacker faces 12 years in prison.
We remind you that in Ukraine the FSB agent network operating “under the guise” of the UOC-MP was exposed.
The SBU detained a “sleeping” FSB agent in Kyiv, who at the beginning of the war collected information about the locations of Ukrainian defenders who participated in the battles for the capital.
