In November 2023, the parliamentarian was handed a protocol on an administrative violation. The investigation established that in August and October 2023, the people’s deputy addressed the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the DBR with parliamentary appeals, which raised issues of his private interest. This was reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation.
It is noted that the legislator was interested in considering the issue of issuing him permission to travel abroad – this is the subject of a criminal case in which he appeared. The deputy tried to put pressure on the investigation and demanded a review of the leadership of law enforcement agencies investigating criminal proceedings in which he acts as a suspect.
The court found that the people’s deputy thus violated the requirements of paragraph 3 of part 1 of Art. 28 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Prevention of Corruption”. This provides for administrative liability under Part 2 of Art. 172-7 (violation of the requirements for preventing and resolving conflicts of interest) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences. The parliamentarian will have to pay a fine.
He will also be included in the Unified State Register of persons who have committed corruption or corruption-related offenses.
According to the Babel publication, we are talking about the current people’s deputy Alexander Dubinsky. The DBR decided not to disclose the name of the deputy.
We would like to remind you that Dubinsky was previously charged with suspicion in the case of organizing a scheme for military personnel to travel abroad. He is also a suspect of high treason – the investigation believes that Dubinsky had the call sign “Buratino” and was part of a criminal organization created by the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
