The leak of negotiations between German officials discussing the possibility of attacking the Crimean Bridge with German missiles was the result of an operation by Russian special services. This was stated in the message of the Bundestag Committee for Control over the Activities of the Intelligence Services.
“All signs of the wiretapping point to a Russian hacking and leaking operation. The committee has previously repeatedly called attention to Russian espionage and disinformation activities and the risks associated with them. The committee expects that the government will show initiative and decisiveness in addressing many facts, it indicates direction, in particular, with the aim of identifying patterns,” said the statement.
In particular, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius took part in the committee meeting.
It was noted that the information war of the Russian side against Europe, NATO and Germany is likely to grow and become worse.
