An abbreviated version of the Oscar ceremony was scheduled to be shown on the Public Culture TV channel today at 20:30, but after receiving materials from the organizers, the team discovered that the awards for Ukrainian documentaries and some other categories were not there.
The “Public” team expressed indignation at the organizers of the award, The Walt Disney Company Limited, and, instead of a shortened version, shows the full version for Ukrainian viewers, which was broadcast live on the “Public Culture” TV channel on the night of March 10-11.
The film “20 days in Mariupol” received an Oscar. Director Mstislav Chernov said in his speech that he would like this film to never have to be made.
