More than two-thirds of the clashes in recent days have taken place on OSGV Tavria, Dmitry Likhovoy said.
The withdrawal of Ukrainian brigades for rotation and restoration continues in the zone of responsibility of the operational-strategic group of forces (OSGV) Tavria. This was said by the spokesman of the United Press Center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Dmitry Likhovoy, on the air of the United News telethon.
“The deployment of our brigades for rotation and recovery continues. It goes as far as the operational situation allows. And sometimes it allows. And this is a positive moment,” he said.
We are talking about brigades that have been on the front line for a long time, participating in the most complex operations, first in offensive ones – last year, and now – in defensive ones, the military man explained.
“Now, one by one, they can gradually return to recovery,” added Likhovoy.
According to him, on several consecutive days the OSGV Tavria accounted for more than two-thirds of the battle. Today, 18 enemy attacks were repelled in the direction of Novopavlovsky, 11 in Avdeevsky, and 5 in Orekhovsky.
During the day, 54 skirmishes took place across the front line.
As we wrote earlier, the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces revealed an important area where two-thirds of the total number of battles on the entire front are ongoing.
