“More than two years ago, Russia brutally attacked Mariupol. 20 days in Mariupol – a film that shows the truth about Russian terrorism. Thanks to the team that worked on this film and received an important award Oscarwhich allows us to speak out loud about Russia’s war against Ukraine,” he said.
The president thanked everyone “who is spreading the truth about this war, about the bravery of our people and about the pain of our people.”
“We remember and will never forget every day of this war, every day of Mariupol, its defenders and defenders. We remember all those who fought for the sake of the city. We remember and must release all the defenders of Mariupol and Azovstalwhich is still kept in inhuman conditions.
