The presidential candidate will not give “a penny for the Ukrainian-Russian war” if he is elected and “restores peace.” Trump made this statement during a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The Hungarian Prime Minister spoke about this in an interview with M1, Index reports.
According to Orban, the war in Ukraine will end if the United States does not support Kyiv. In his opinion, Europe will not be able to finance all of Ukraine’s needs on its own.
Donald Trump is not yet the President of the United States, but his party in the American legislature is preventing Democrats from investing money in the war, he noted.
The Hungarian prime minister added that Trump has “quite detailed plans” on how to end a full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war that coincide with Hungarian interests.
Obran also noted that the Hungarian authorities and Donald Trump are pro-peace, while the Democratic Party in the United States is supposedly pro-war.
Let us remember that Donald Trump previously promised to end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours. President Vladimir Zelensky said he does not believe Trump can end the war in 24 hours, as he promises. He invited the candidate to come to the front line in Ukraine and explain how he intended to do this.
