The 800 thousand artillery shells promised to Ukraine, found by the Czech Republic outside the European Union, will be delivered to Kyiv in the coming weeks. This was said by the Czech leader Petr Pavel, writes Bild.
According to him, delivery times are possible if “there are no major problems.”
However, Pavel did not say which countries could provide such a quantity of ammunition.
Let’s remember that earlier the President of the Czech Republic announced that his country had found 800 thousand shells that could be bought for Ukraine. The initiative is a fallback option because the European Union failed to fulfill its promise to provide Ukraine with one million artillery shells by March.
France, Germany and Latvia said they will participate in the purchase of artillery ammunition as part of the Czech President’s initiative.
